Conch Republic Divers
Conch Republic Divers is located in Tavernier Florida Keys, which is on the north end of Islamorada. We dive the reefs and wrecks from Key Largo to Islamorada and are located at mile marker 90.8 in the Tavernier Creek Marina.
From the North on US 1 you will pass MM 91, cross Tavernier Creek bridge. Look to the right and you will see a dive flag atop a white building. The dive flag is above the entrance to our shop. Take the first right and go back to the dive flag. Within the marina, if you are looking at the bait shop, look to your left shoulder and you will be looking at our front door.
From the South, once you pass Coral Shores High School, start paying attention. You will come to an intersection with a real traffic light–there aren’t all that many in the Keys! Take your first left AFTER the traffic light. Again, look for the dive flag! (The boat will still be at the front door.)
Driving to Miami or the Florida Keys? Beginning February 2011, tolls on Florida’s Turnpike from Exit 1 to Exit 47 in Miami-Dade County – will only be collected electronically, with SunPass or with TOLL-BY-PLATE , a system that takes a photo of a vehicle’s license plate and mails a bill to the vehicle’s registered owner. Cash toll collections will be eliminated on this segment of the Turnpike. With SunPass or TOLL-BY-PLATE, drivers DO NOT STOP to pay tolls.
