We are the PREMIER DIVE SHOP spearfishing charter in the Upper Keys! We cater to the needs of beginner through advanced spearfishing levels.
Most of our dives (weather permitting) are around 50-100 ft and we generally do drift dives so spearos are not covering the same sections of reef twice, and this allows you to dive the WHOLE REEF!
We are the ONLY operation to spear up to the John Pennekamp legal line and as far south as Alligator Reef, allowing you to spear the ENTIRE Upper Keys!
Our spearos regularly spear GROUPERS, SNAPPER, HOGFISH, TRIGGERFISH, PERMIT, and AFRICAN POMANO!
Lionfishing is always welcomed on these trips as well. These dives are a great chance to cover some ground and eradicate those pesky, delicious, invasive fish!
**ALL spearfishermen MUST have a buddy or hire one of our very experienced spearfishing guides.**

If you've never been spearfishing before and are interested in trying it out, we offer half and full day spearfishing specialty courses! These courses will get you comfortable with spearfishing equipment, fish identification and size regulations, and allow you to hunt with the assistance of one of our exceptional spearfishing instructors!
We also have spearguns, pole spears, and zookeepers available to rent or buy!
Lionfishing!

Lionfish are venomous invaders that have been wreaking havoc on the balanced ecosystem in the Florida Keys. The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary encourages the safe removal of lionfish from its waters.
A Florida saltwater fishing license is not required to harvest lionfish from Florida waters if using hand nets, pole spears, Hawaiian slings, or devices created and marketed exclusively for lionfish collection.
We often find lionfish on our deeper reefs, so most of these dives are between 45-100 ft. We generally set these dives up as drift dives, so you can look for lionfish across the WHOLE REEF!
